Arsenal have reportedly identified Sporting Lisbon teenage forward Tiago Tomas as a potential summer signing, according to The Sun.
The Gunners are closing in on a deal to sign the highly-rated Sporting Lisbon forward ahead of the summer.
The report adds that Arsenal technical director Edu has been in direct contact with Sporting director of football Hugo Viana about signing the teenager in the summer transfer window.
The Sun goes on to report that, the Portuguese giants are under pressure to sell the 18-year-old striker due to the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic.
Sporting would be willing to accept an offer as little as £20m given the financial situation.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and Edu have been impressed with the Portuguese after his performances in the Portugal top flight.
