Liverpool Eye Estevao Willian as Chelsea Wonderkid Considers Options
Liverpool are once again on the hunt for elite young talent, and their latest target could reshape their forward line for years to come. As the Reds continue rebuilding a squad short on firepower to compete for major honours, a new name has surfaced on Anfield’s radar: Estevao Willian.
Liverpool and Barcelona Circle Chelsea Starlet
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Liverpool are closely tracking Estevao’s situation at Chelsea, with Barcelona also monitoring the Brazilian’s progress at Stamford Bridge. The Blues reportedly value their 19-year-old at around £103 million, but limited game time could prompt the winger to reassess his future in west London this season.

The interest comes as Liverpool search for a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, with new arrival Bradley Barcola primarily deployed on the left, leaving a gap on the opposite flank that Estevao’s profile fits perfectly.
Why Estevao Fits the Bill
Few young wingers in the Premier League combine dribbling, take-on success, and end product quite like Estevao. His ability to progress the ball down the right, create chances, and find dangerous pockets himself makes him a genuine difference-maker in the final third.
At Chelsea, however, head coach Xabi Alonso has favoured Cole Palmer on the right, with Pedro Neto often used as a right wing-back — pushing Estevao further down the pecking order. Continued exclusion from Alonso’s plans could accelerate a potential exit.
Barcelona remain interested too, but with Lamine Yamal already established on their right flank, minutes could be harder to come by at the Camp Nou. That reality may hand Liverpool a crucial edge in the race for one of Europe’s most exciting young attackers.
