Wolves keen on signing Real Madrid defender Nacho
Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly expressed an interest in making an audacious move for Real Madrid centre-back Nacho, who faces an uncertain future at the Bernabeu.
According to Defensa Central, the 32-year-old defender is the subject of interest from Wolves, amid uncertainties surrounding his future at the Spanish capital.
The Spain international has been a dependable performer for Madrid despite never being the first-choice. He is arguably the best backup centre-back in Europe and has displayed many memorable performances for the La Liga champions.
The centre-back has made 300 appearances thus far for Los Blancos, contributing 15 goals and nine assists.
Nacho does not have any shortage of suitors either, a number of clubs across Europe have shown interest in him, but the Molineux-based outfit have now emerged as the latest contender to sign the veteran defender.
Nacho is likely to become a free agent in the summer, hence there might be more clubs clamouring for the Spaniard.
