Tottenham Hotspur reignite Nahitan Nandez pursuit?

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly accelerated their pursuit of Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez.

The 25-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Spurs over the summer, but the market closed with the midfielder still at his Italian club.

The Uruguay international has been an important player for the Italian outfit this season, contributing two assists in 12 Serie A appearances.

According to Calciomercato, Tottenham remain interested in the Uruguayan and are planning to revamp their interest during the mid-season transfer window.

Nandez, who has a €36m release clause in his current deal, has scored four goals and registered nine assists in 79 appearances for Gli Isolani
