Liverpool and Uruguay striker Luis Suarez has been in yet another biting controversy after he bit the Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini during the final match of Group D in the FIFA World Cup 2014.
This was the third time, Suarez has bitten an opponent in his controversial career. In 2010, he was banned for 7 games for biting PSV Eindhoven’s Otman Bakkal and in last year 2013, the 27-year-old was banned for 10 matches for biting Chelsea’s Brainslav Ivanovic.
After the recent incident, Suarez has been handed a four-month suspension ban from football related activity and also handed a nine international games ban by FIFA, results he will be out until the end of the October this year.
