Spurs eye £35m bid for Ajax defender Davinson Sanchez

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly targeted Ajax centre-back Davinson Sanchez as his first summer signing, according to The Sun.

The Colombian defender, who has been valued at £35m – voted the Player of the Season in 2016-17.

Meanwhile, Barcelona, Chelsea and Crystal Palace are said to have recently shown an interest in the 21-year-old defender.

The report claims, the Lilywhites are keen to bring Sanchez on board, as the club have so far failed to sign a single player during the summer transfer window.

Sanchez has scored six goals in 45 appearances for Ajax across all competitions in the past two years.
