PSG join race to sign Napoli midfielder Allan

Everton reportedly face fresh competition from Paris Saint-Germain for the signing of Napoli midfielder Allan.

The Merseyside outfit have reportedly placed emphasis on signing in the Brazil international as a leading target ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

Allan’s contract at Partenopei runs until the 2022-23 season, but there have been suggestions that the 29-year-old attacker could be allowed to leave Italy this summer.

Everton coach Carlo Ancelotti allegedly views Allan as the ideal player to boost his midfield, having worked with the Brazilian at Napoli between 2018 and 2019.

However, according to Corriere dello Sport, Everton will have to hold off competition from the Ligue 1 champions PSG, who are also said to be keen on the player.

Allan has contributed one goal and one assist in 24 appearances at club level this term.
