Manchester United interested in Benfica left back Alex Grimaldo
|Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a January move for Benfica defender Alex Grimaldo after the Premier League giants’ scouts watched the left-back in a 4-0 win over Feirense on Sunday night.
The 21-year-old, who has a whopping £51m buy-out clause in his current contract – has also been linked with Premier League rivals Manchester City.
However, the 20-time English champions have identified Grimaldo as a January transfer target, according to the Daily Mail.

The Spanish youth international has been in impressive form this season as he scored in the 4-0 win over Feirense.
The report adds – Grimaldo’s potential suitors believe that the Portuguese giants could sell him on a more-reasonable transfer fee.
