Man City considering January swoop for West Ham starlet Divin Mubama

Manchester City have reportedly outlined their intentions to move for West Ham United wonderkid Divin Mubama.

The 16-year-old has enjoyed an impressive 2020-21 campaign for the youth ranks at the capital club, scoring 10 times in 22 games in the Under-18 Premier League.

The teenager also scored in the FA Youth Cup defeat to Arsenal’s youth products last term, and his performances are thought to have caught the eye of top European clubs.

According to Football Insider, Manchester City are closely monitoring Mubama’s progress, but they could face fierce competition for the starlet’s signature.

The report adds that the Hammers hope to tie the frontman down to a professional deal following his 17th birthday next month.

Mubama made his first appearance in the Under-18 Premier League 2021-22 season during a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
