Leeds United keen on signing James Garner
|Manchester United midfielder James Garner has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Leeds United.
According to The Sun, the Yorkshire giants have been tracking the 20-year-old midfielder since his loan move to Nottingham Forest. They are expected to make a move for the youngster upon his return to Old Trafford following the current season.
Garner has made his Man United senior debut in the 2018/19 season but managed to play just one match. Since then, he has made seven appearances for the senior squad but has struggled to cement his place as a first-team regular.
The aforementioned report claims that the Red Devils would be willing to allow him to join a Premier League club on loan next season, which could come as a boost for the Whites.
Garner is under contract with Manchester United until 2024.
