Chelsea table bid for Roma centre-back
The Premier League giants Chelsea will reportedly launch a bid to sign Roma defender Antonio Rudiger this summer.
The 23-year-old, who completed a permanent move to the Giallorossi from Stuttgart for a fee of €9 million – has made 30 Serie A appearances, scoring two goals as the Giallorossi finished third in the table 2015/16 season.
According to la Repubblica, the Germany international could be set for an immediate move with the west London outfit hoping to bolster the defensive options ahead of the new season.

The Italian outfit will reportedly demand a fee somewhere in the region of €25 million for the centre-back after he became a key figure under Luciano Spalletti as Roma earn a Champions League group stage berth.
