Chelsea keen on 21-year-old Moroccan
According to Mundo Deportivo, Spanish club Osasuna are hoping to extend the loan of 21-year-old Barcelona prospect Ez Abde. However, their efforts might be in vain as Chelsea have reportedly taken an interest in the Moroccan.
Ez Abde has been making waves since his time at various Spanish clubs, ultimately coming up through the Hercules CF academy. He joined Barcelona in 2021 but with the club’s recent additions in the attack, his playing time became limited. As a result, the Blaugrana loaned him out to Osasuna for the current season, where he has been performing well with one goal and two assists in 17 appearances.
It remains to be seen whether the Blues will make a move for the talented young player, but his progress and potential has definitely caught their eye.
The growing interest in Barcelona prospect Ez Abde has caught the attention of Chelsea, as they reportedly consider making a move for the 21-year-old. Despite recent investments in wide attackers, including Raheem Sterling and Noni Madueke, the Blues are said to be interested in bringing in another winger.
Osasuna had hopes of extending his stay, but the increasing interest in the player will likely put an end to those plans. The uncertainty of Barcelona’s stance on the sale of Abde remains, but if the Catalan giants decides to part ways with the young prospect, they have the potential to receive a decent fee from Chelsea’s interest.
However, with the Blues reportedly working on signing a top-class striker, it remains unclear how Abde fits into the team’s plans.
