Chelsea agree Alvaro Morata deal from Real Madrid
|Chelsea have reached an agreement with Real Madrid for the signing of Spain international Alvaro Morata, the Premier League champions have confirmed.
The west Londoners have been searching for a new highly-rated forward for some time, and now it has been confirmed that the Premier League giants have agreed a deal to sign the 24-year-old striker in the next 48 hours, subject to agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.
The Spaniard emerged as a potential target for the Blues earlier this month after they missed out on Romelu Lukaku, who joined Manchester United last week.

A statement on Chelsea’s website read: “Chelsea Football Club and Real Madrid have agreed terms for the transfer of Alvaro Morata to Stamford Bridge. The move is now subject to him agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.”
Morata has scored 20 times in 39 appearances for Los Blancos last season and is expected to cost the Londoners around £75m.
