Barcelona interested in Alexandre Lacazette
Barcelona have reportedly outlined their intentions to move for Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette.
The Frenchman has been in scintillating form for Mikel Arteta’s side this term, contributing five goals and eight assists from 26 appearances in all competitions.
Lacazette will see his contract at the Emirates Stadium expire at the end of June, though, and the 30-year-old is widely expected to leave the Gunners in search of pastures new.
The Ligue 1 outfit Lyon have been strongly linked with the frontman, while Atletico Madrid are believed to be interested in signing him for the 2022-23 campaign.
According to le10sport, the Blaugrana have also “explored” the possibility of signing Lacazette, with the La Liga outfit considering moving for the Frenchman on a free transfer.
The report adds that Barca will look to sign Lacazette if they miss out on a deal for Erling Braut Haaland.
Lacazette has contributed 70 goals and 36 assists in 196 appearances for the North Londoners in all competitions.
