West Ham United set to pip Everton to the signing of Lewis Leigh

West Ham United are reportedly set to pip Everton to the signature of Preston North End youngster Lewis Leigh.
The 17-year-old midfielder’s performances have understandably attracted interest from other top Premier League clubs.
However, according to Football Insider, West Ham United have geared up their interest and reportedly agreed a deal already in order to jump the queue of other interested clubs for his signature.
The youngster is under contract with the Championship outfit until the summer of 2024.
Leigh is yet to make a first-team appearance for North End.
