£47million price tag on Dortmund defender Mats Hummels
Manchester United and Arsenal have to pay £47million for Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels in order to secure his services, according to the Daily Star.
The German international, whose contract is valid until 2017 – has been heavily linked with a move away from Borussia Dortmund over the summer.
Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has slapped a huge £47million asking price on the 25-year-old World Cup winner, leaving it up to the Premier League giants to decide if they want him.
Wenger reportedly only have £20million to spend in January window, so he might look at the alternatives and is thought to be monitoring Athletic Bilbao starlet Aymeric Laporte’s situation.
But, the Red Devils have got the buying power and could pay the massive fee to acquire Hummels’s services.
