Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Tanguy Ndombele has signed for the club on a six-year contract.
The 22-year-old midfielder joins Spurs from the Ligue 1 outfit Lyon for an initial club-record fee of £53.8m.
Tottenham said in a statement on Twitter: “We are delighted to announce the signing of Tanguy Ndombele from Olympique Lyonnais.
“The France international central midfielder has signed a contract with the club until 2025.”
Ndombele has made 96 appearances for Les Gones.
Earlier, the north Londoners also completed the signing of Jack Clarke from Leeds.
Clarke, 18, had become the first signing made by Tottenham since Lucas Moura joined from PSG during January 2018.
