The 35-year-old was named Swansea manager back in February following the departure of Michael Laudrup.
“It’s an honour and privilege, but it’s very much a collective – it’s not about individuals,” said Monk.
“For me, it’s about the players, myself, the staff around me day-to-day and the staff in the office working hard. This is who I dedicate the award to.”
The Welsh club are currently sit second in the league table with nine points same as leaders Chelsea.
Elsewhere, Chelsea striker Diego Costa has won the player of the month award with four goals in three league starts.
