Manchester City want Lyon youngster Tanguy Ndombele

Lyon youngster Tanguy Ndombele has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Manchester City, according to The Express.

The 21-year-old Frenchman has registered four assists in 13 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit so far this season.

The report suggests that City boss Pep Guardiola is keen on to bring the midfielder to Etihad Stadium.

The report goes on to claim that Guardiola, who wants an ideal replacement for Fernandinho in the summer, has sent scouts to watch Ndombele in action ahead of a potential swoop at the end of the season.

The Premier League champions were linked with the Brazilian winger Jorginho in the summer transfer window, but the former Napoli man opted instead a move to Chelsea.
