Report: Man Utd agree deal to sign Renato Sanches from Benfica

Manchester United have reportedly agreed a huge-money deal to sign Benfica midfielder Renato Sanches, according to reports in the Portuguese media Diario Noticias.

The Premier League giants have been linked with a number players in recent weeks as manager Louis van Gaal looks to strengthen his squad at Old Trafford.

The report claims that the Red Devils have agreed a £50 million deal to bring the Portuguese to Old Trafford this summer.

Manchester United have been linked with a move for the 18-year-old and are understood to have scouted the player on several occasions this season and it seems that the 20-time English champions are closing in on a move.

Sanches is valued to be around £61.4m release clause in his contract with Primeira Liga outfit but it appears that the midfielder could be allowed to leave the club less than that amount.
