Man City plan shock move for Andres Iniesta

Manchester City have reportedly expressed an interest in making an audacious move for Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.

The Spain international remains a key figure at Camp Nou, with the midfielder has made 30 appearances for the Catalan giants in all competitions this season.

Iniesta, 33, signed a ‘lifetime contract’ with Barca in October, but it has been reported that the playmaker could have a limited role at the club next season.

According to The Mirror, Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola, who has a close relationship with Iniesta following their time together at Barcelona, will make an audacious move to bring the Spaniard to the Etihad Stadium.

Iniesta has won eight La Liga titles, five Copa del Reys and four Champions Leagues titles since joining the club in 2002.
