Liverpool duo – Rickie Lambert and Mario Balotelli has gone terribly flop this season that is why Brendan Rodgers has decided to make a summer move for the Argentine striker Luciano Vietto from Villarreal, reports The Metro.
The 21-year-old has been considered as one of the hottest properties in Spanish La Liga and Rodgers is determined to bring him at Anfield for next season.
Rumours are growing about the possible exit of Balotelli and Lambert this summer and new recruits being brought in to the Mersysiders.
The forward has scored 12 goals and provided two assists in 27 appearances for the Yellow Submarine this season.
Vietto has four-years left on his current deal and would cost the Reds somewhere in the region of £12 million.
