The European champions Liverpool are still keen on a move to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon this summer, according to The Daily Express.
The Reds could face competition from league rivals Manchester City, who have asked to be kept informed of developments as they look to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season.
Fekir, 25, was strongly linked with a move to Liverpool last summer and he was believed to have come close to signing for the Merseyside outfit before the proposed deal fell through.
The report adds that the French outfit are prepared to cash in on Fekir this summer after the move to Anfield fell through following a medical result.
The France international has made 39 appearances for Les Gones in all competitions last season.
With just a year left on Fekir’s contract, the Champions League holders will look recruit the attacker for a bargain price.
