Is Juan Cuadrado heading to Chelsea?

With the January transfer window is set to a close in the couple of days (Monday’s transfer deadline) – there are much speculation about the Fiorentina midfielder Juan Cuadrado, who is in-rumours to make a sensational £26.8million move to the Premier League leaders Chelsea.

It is understood that the 26-year-old was heavily linked with a move to the west London club during the summer transfer window but with recent report from the Daily Mail has suggested that the Blues are ready to launch a bid for around 27 million pounds for the Colombian international, once Andre Schurrle has joined German side Wolfsburg for around £30m. 

Cuadrado has been in sensational form for the Italian outfit since from the past two seasons. In 2013-14, he scored 11 times in 32 appearances and created numerous opportunities for the Serie A club.

During this campaign Cuadrado has been consistent with his numbers, scoring 4 goals and provided four assists and the report claims that his arrival at the Stamford Bridge looks imminent.
