Inter confirms Croatia midfielder Marcelo Brozovic deal

The Serie A club Inter Milan have announced the signing of midfielder Marcelo Brozovic from the Croatian football club Dinamo Zagreb.

The 22-year-old is believed to have joined the Italian giants for around £5.9m.

The Croatian youngster, who had been linked with a move to the Premier League club Arsenal, but the highly-rated midfielder penned a two-year loan deal with the Nerazzurri and an option to make the move permanent.

Brozovic, who was part of 2014 World Cup in Brazil, has won seven caps for his country and becomes Inter’s third acquisition in the January transfer window, following the loan captures of Xherdan Shaqiri from Bayern Munich and Lukas Podolski from Arsenal.
