Arsenal have announced the signing of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon for a club-record fee, believed to be around £52m.
The prolific forward has joined the Gunners for a reported £52m, makes him the most expensive player that the north Londoners have acquired.
The France international has penned a long-term deal, arrives at the Emirates with an impressive record having scored 129 times in 275 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit.
Lacazette’s arrival is a massive boost to manager Arsene Wenger, who looks to bolster his squad ahead of new season starting next month.
The forward is Arsenal’s second summer acquisition after Sead Kolasinac from Schalke joined the Gunners on a free transfer last month.
Lacazette is set to make his Arsenal debut this weekend for the club’s pre-season tour in Australia.
