Arsenal: Cazorla set to sign new deal

Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla is all set to sign a new long-term contract at the Emirates, that will keep him at the club until 2017, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

The Spaniard current contract ends in 2016 and will sign a new contract extension in the couple of weeks, salary expected to be around £80,000-a-week.

The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is desperate to lure the best players to the Emirates with new lucrative contracts.

Great star players such as: Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott, Kieran Gibbs and Carl Jenkinson all have signed contract extensions over a year ago.

Although, Wenger has already stated last week that Czech midfielder Tomas Rosicky will remain at the club, with a new one-year rolling contract. In addition, Germany international Per Mertesacker is also under Gunners’ radar for a new contract.

However, Arsenal’s priority is to find a ideal replacement of Bacary Sagna in the summer transfer window, as the French full-back is ready for the exit this summer.
